The Turtle
The original company Turtle stays with us to this day whilst the new corporate logo is seen in our advertising, transport fleet and forms the backdrop to the website. The Turtle was created by a friend of the family as part of a mural displayed at a surprise 21st birthday for Mark. Mark passed through Scouting and, when completing the Ten Tors expedition as a teenager, the nickname of Turtle was borne. As any readers who have an interest in mountaineering will know, as a teenager you'd carry everything on your back which (back then) was in the old fashioned metal framed rucksacks. A best friend at the time exclaimed one day that all he could see was my bag, head, arms and legs - hence “Turtle” was born.
The Company
Turtle Productions was founded by Mark back in 2001. Starting out as a sole trader, the business soon grew through its ability to listen to and deliver what the customer wanted, at the right price and time. We’ve evolved into a Limited company operating from two bases with five employees covering a region from Birmingham into Somerset and Cardiff across to the M25. Celebrating 10 years, we’ve weathered the recession and are looking to recruit two new staff this year to help our growing business.
