We are currently recruiting a Landscape Gardener to work from our Stonehouse premises from January 2007 who, after a satisfactory period of in-house/on-the-job training, will be expected to carry out work in the following categories:

• Garden ponds - construction, maintenance, draining and cleaning, restoration, annual servicing
  
• Decking projects - construction of simple or complicated ground or elevated single or multi-platform decks with or without stairs, balustrades, under-deck cladding and LED deck lighting
  
• Fencing - removal of old and construction of new closeboard fencing, repairs to existing fencing, trellis work
  
• Irrigation - installation and maintenance of mains-fed or water-butt fed irrigation systems
  
• Lighting - installation and maintenance of low voltage garden lighting and LED deck lighting systems
  
• Landscape gardening - installation of new landscaping schemes both small and large which may include any or all of the above components together with log sleeper work, turfing, soil laying, old garden removals etc.
  

You will be leading a team of one or more team members, making up a Team to handle projects and jobs allotted to them. Your experience will help guide this team, ensuring each allocated project is completed on-time, within budget and to the satisfaction of all.

You will be working a flexi-system 40-hour week, based from our Stonehouse premises. You will be expected to wear the company uniform and present yourself for work in a clean and tidy manner.

Salary will be negotiated upon successful interview and after a succesful period of probationary employment, you will become eligible to join the company profit related pay scheme.
