From 2002

The client contacted us with a small overcrowding problem! We visited and decided upon a larger pond set into the lawn, with a natural rock exterior. The client chose to work with us, reducing the labour cost.

Our first of two days were spent removing the old pond, saving the fish, frogs and plant life into a 50-gallon holding tank whilst we dug the new pond. The removed soil was used to top up flowerbeds, fill in the old pond site and was saved for their daughters' house. A sand underliner was used to protect the pond liner, and filling commenced before the day was out.

Day two saw a tonne of terracotta rock arrive to provide the edging to the pond. We also introduced planting and set-up the pumps and filtration system. The fish now have a new home, 10 times larger than their last. They were happy as are we with our annual service visit and 'fun' exchanges!

Slowly, the pond began to fill (click me to enlarge) Within an hour or returning the fish, they were happily shoaling around, exploring their new home (click me to enlarge)
