From 2004

We were approached to complete this pond after the client had suffered from poor health. Thankfully the hard work of digging out had been completed so it was a simple task of fitting the pond out to the clients' specification.

The liner of choice was a Firestone 1.0mm thick rubber liner laid on a sub-base of footings material (high water-table), fleece underliner to retain the footings material and local soft sand patted into the side walls.

Paving slabs were then hydraulically split to create a straight leading edge which was used to edge the pond just below the waterline, supporting the clients abundance of rock - the final, finished edge. Soil was back-filled and aquatic plants introduced. During our Spring 2005 service we look forward to seeing the finished product with background rockery planted and fish happily swimming around!
