From 2006

With a friend, this client had dug and built the pond to the level of the first two photo's in this example. An admirable job with good quality butyl liner and OASE equipment was made for which we were to complete using our expertise.

We drained the pond and removed the cut liner from the rock. A hired-in JCB from Smiths then deftly lifted a one-tonne lump of  rock out and re-shaped the bottom of the pond, making it slightly deeper and more level - helping to reduce 'hot spots' and therefore future blanket weed growth areas.

The liner was then re-installed in reverse so the hole was out of the water area, equipment re-sited and the pond was edged with rockery stone and our garden planting. Aquatic planting was chosen to sit on the rock shelf to help disguise the filter plant in the future.
