This client runs a City Council youth project in north Bristol and with our Scouting background we were delighted to help with this project. Beating quotes from the City Council we were engaged to plant a new wildlife pond and plant the backdrop to the pond.

Aquatic plants included nearly 60 different species ranging from lilies, deep marginals, shallow marginals, bog plants and oxygenators; all bred and guaranteed from our own stocks. These were planted into 5 tonne of washed gravel, laid previously for us by the client.

Two tonne of graded topsoil was used to fill the void behind the block wall and to gently cascade into the far water-bank where a wide range of planting was introduced - native species, ground cover, flowering and scented; all easy care maintenance and designed to blend in with the maturing beauty of the pond.
