Having already spent a lot of money with competitors who couldn't handle a pond of this size, we won the contract to re-fit the pond following our on-site presentation of previous large contract ponds. We extensively used the clients' local contacts for materials which included 150 tonne of in-fill material to level the pond floor, 10 tonne of sand and a JCB. We arranged for 26 tonne of cobbles, a Firestone 1mm thick liner and underfleece to be delivered along with 250 aquatic plants.

Only three days were needed to assemble the pond together with an overflow system and powerful Hozelock Prima pump to circulate the water via the upper pond and large waterfall. We had fun manhandling a large boulder into the pond (because if a digger can do it, so can we!) to become the central focal point of the pond and Mark returned once the pond had filled to perform a few tweaks and edge the pond using stone from the woods. Great fun, excellent clients.
