From 2001

The client's existing pond was nestled in well established gardens complete with a 20 feet dry stream bed.

To ensure no leaks, we purchased a liner large enough to fit the pond and stream bed in one piece. After laying the liner we filled it from a handy well using a suction pump. As fish weren't being introduced to the pond and due to it's large size (30' x 15') we opted for several large clumps of plants rather than small ones.

We improved the original stream bed by covering the liner with stone and pebbles to create a natural looking stream. We finished the project by cementing in an edging patio and natural stone border.

Due to the size of the pond and stream, we supplied a liner which would cover the whole area in one piece (click me to enlarge) With the pond full it was time to position the stream liner before ... (click me to enlarge)
