We were asked to restore this garden pond and make it safe for the clients' daughter who was now of walking age. Previously the pond had been screened off by a fence however interest and need-of-space plus storm damage negated the removal of the fence.

As with all our new clients, we firstly drain and clean the pond back to a pristine state so we know the history of the pond for future maintenance contracts and problem solving. Draining and cleaning of the pond also allowed us to check the pond floor prior to the installation of the Safapond deck.

This deck was pre-laid over the pond and then trimmed to shape ensuring that the entire space was protected, using a mixture of legs and strung supports for all-round safety. We now maintain this pond annually and are getting referrals from this client for neighbourly projects.
