From 2001

When we first quoted for this project, the water was murky and contents un-seen. When we arrived on day one and drained the pond, we were amazed to find not only seven 6" fish but also two 15" mirror carp! They all were put in at 2" length so it just proves that fish don't grow to the size of the pond.

After saving the fish and clearing the site, we built a 6' x 4' raised pond using concrete blocks. The external walls were then clad in Pennant Grey walling stone direct from the quarry and all was left to set overnight.

Day two saw the liner introduced to the pond and then filled. Capping stones were then bedded in to hide the liner, the waterfall completed and plants introduced.

Finally the fish were returned and were soon seen happily swimming around their new larger home.
