From 2005

This is the other half of a project based in Cheltenham, where we were appointed to install a deck and koi pond.

The pond was built to our traditional recipe of concrete block construction whilst the outside walls were, this time, to be clad in decking timber. Once the footings were laid, a simple exercise of laying the blocks took two days to complete around the bottom and side drain pipework that would link the pond to the filtration system.

Fleece liner protect the walls whilst 2" of sand protect the floor for the butyl liner which was introduced, filled, shaped and finally finished in timber.

Connecting into the original ponds' electricity supply allow the pump, UVC and filter to work 24/7 keeping the fish clean and the owner happy whilst a pergola provides shade when needed.
