These clients had recently moved and desperately needed a new koi pond. We were able to accommodate and created this 2,000 gallon pond in only a week.
With safety and access concerns it was decided that a central deep pool would be created with the bulk of the pond being above ground level. The soil was therefore removed via skip and the pond walls built using concrete block for the inners and Bradstone Walling stone for the outer (to match the rest of the garden).
Bowland Stone paving formed the copingstones whilst a separate area housed the filter, UVC and lighting transformer. Underground 4" plumbing from the pond supplied the filter whilst an in-filter pump returned the water to the pond. Low voltage pond lighting completed the fishes new home which we transferred on the clients behalf.
