From 2003 (part 2)

A pergola would not only provide the framework for future shading should it be required, but also be an attractive feature to the pond plus heron deflector.

Unfortunately, a few weeks later whilst the pond was becoming establishing, fish started dying in their original home. We quickly transferred the fish to their new pond, adding lots of waste matter and water from our own facilities to help the naturalisation process of the filtration system. All the fish survived.

During our week working for the clients, we were exceptionally well looked after, making our stay both enjoyable and light-hearted. We look forward to returning to the client in January to build two patio's - using the same materials that clad the pond exterior to provide continuity.
