Having recently purchased their property, the clients had completed the interior decoration and were now turning their attention outdoors. They'd started laying the garden out but needed our help to produce an outdoor entertaining deck, sympathetic with the layout of the house yet inviting to the garden.

We designed and built a split level deck, featuring a main decked area outside the rear patio doors. The deck was built deep enough to allow for adequate entertaining space yet not to encroach too much into the garden. A wrap-around lower platform linked all the areas together as well as housing the shed whilst steps lead off this lower platform towards the garden and rearward up the side of the house.

Metal railing units provided safety to the deck whilst not obstructing the view whilst LED deck lighting completed the deck, creating gentle 'mood' lighting for evening use.
