From 2004

We were approached with the question "can you build us a deck, 3 metres off the ground?" "No problem" we replied which was followed with our usual free consultation, design and quotation process. Due to the specifications of the deck, planning permission was sought and given.

With the use of additional safety equipment, not to mention buckets of sunshine, the deck went up surprisingly easily! Ledger boards with joist hangers were prepared and then fitted into place - one side being bolted to the house whilst the outer was bolted to 4" posts which also formed the structure for the handrail around the deck.

A chevron layout accentuates the space created here which is not only provides a suntrap, but also a spectacular vantage point for seeing the boats sailing on the River Avon, leaning on the specially designed 'wine-glass wide' handrail.
