The trampoline here was fairly un-usable, especially for little ones, due to the height the surface was from the ground. We hit upon the idea of burying it into the ground so you could 'walk on, bounce and walk off' it as required.

Needless to say, the trampoline might not be a long-term feature as is the want of a child so, with the aide of a mini-digger, we constructed the trampoline pit with a dual purpose in mind. Once the trampoline was finished with, the concrete-block retained hole could be converted into a feature koi pond!

In the meantime, stainless steel LED lighting surrounded the decked area whilst waterproof halogen lighting is planned for up-lighting the underside of the trampoline area.
