This clients garden was fairly typical of the modern day new-estate type of garden. The clients were keen gardeners and wanted to create a new garden which allowed for creative planting and had different 'zones' or areas to work within.

Our plan allowed for a large entertaining area / play zone for their daughter outside the rear of the house, whilst railway sleepers created a winding path to an upper deck area, where the last of the days' sun rested. A large oval lawn kept the vital element that every garden should have some of - grass whilst there was lots of space for planting. An irrigation system was also installed for automatic and cost effective watering.

We undertook the hard landscaping for the client which involved laying two decks, installing the log retaining wall, importing 10 tonne of topsoil, bark mulch and lawn. We look forward to visiting this garden in a year or two to see how the planting has developed.
