From 2002

The original spec for this job was to solve a pond problem however our clients were so impressed with our initial approach that we were engaged to convert this 1,000 square foot bank into a garden! We were to retain the existing paths, create a patio or deck at the top in a sun-trap and ensure everything was nominal maintenance.

We imported nearly two tonne of rock for the garden (and pond) from the local quarry and removed a skip-full of existing weeds. With the help (?) of the dogs, we then laid out, planted and mulched the entire area using a mixture of low maintenance and traditional 'wild flower' plants. Upon completion, we were asked back to complete a deck. See our decking portfolio for more information.

This project took us a week to complete. Cost: £4,260.
