From 2005

We were to use Bowland Stone's natural stone patio slab "Malham Stone" to renew a patio, laid to our own, unique pattern. The old patio was lifted, the drainage holes around the conservatory filled, the waste was skipped away and the site was prepared  using a vibration plate.

The Malham Stone slabs were then laid. A difficult product to use because, being of natural stone, they were all slightly different in size, thickness and final surface level, making levelling them a nightmare. We all agreed though that the final patio looked stunning when laid, especially the fossil slabs.

We needed to return to this project to alter a few slabs that were holding water and re-grout some sections that had blown through frost, however the clients were very understanding of such a difficult product to work with, were extremely accommodating throughout and a pleasure to work for.
