Whilst working on our Whitchurch show garden, we were asked to deal with this patio site. It had been started many years ago, but promotion and a hectic lifestyle just didn't allow for the project to be completed.

B & Q's concrete deck-tile and concrete sleepers were to be used with a small retaining wall. Whilst the combination didn't look pretty when stacked, we duly obliged in the building of the patio, including 'eco-channel' and soil pipe to return the run-off water to the waste water drain.

The final result? A friend rang us to criticise our choice of materials - claiming that we should have bought new wood for the retaining wall rather than recycle used scaffold boards. We were pleasantly surprised with the authenticity of these products, not to mention the clients who can finally make use of this space.
