We were delighted to return to this existing pond client to install a new patio for them.

The rear of the garden featured a standard garage base some two feet high with little around it. A patio was needed and it was decided to build around the garage base rather than lots of excavation costs. The added bonus was that the spoil from the pond site plus other waste from the garden and house renovations could be buried, leaving only 5-tonne of scalpings needed to fill the area ready for paving.

The paving came from Bowland Stone, using their Windsor Riven range in Welsh Slate colour and was laid to our unique random pattern and grouted with welsh slate dye. As usual, we were wonderfully looked after which compensated for the frosty winter mornings!
