We've included this project as the client specified 'Yellow Balou' deckboards - a different colour hardwood board 'from the usual'. The colour was chosen from our samples as it best blended into this compact garden, matched the garden colours without standing out plus had the usual hardwood properties of no maintenance.

We were to create a small breakfast deck to catch the morning light, nestled between new flowerbeds yet to be created. We recommended and then built a softwood pergola over the deck to help give the space some identity, enclosure and structure to the garden.

The carcass was created over the top of a retaining, re-inforced concrete structure with the deckboards firstly laid at 45 degrees and then trimmed into a quarter circle. The project only took us one day and we look forward to being of further service to this client.
