Wow. Weren’t we looked after on this project in Cheltenham in 2005! The client, a chef (see pictures), loved his fish and this couple wanted to make better use of the space – rest, relax, dine, fish-keeping, bringing a new concept of the time to the garden – Outdoor Living.
We dug and built them a new koi pond which was clad in decking with a bespoke planed timber matching pergola (to help form shade) whilst simultaneously installing decking to wrap around the rear of the garden and tie everything together. Add some plants and furniture – this might catch on!
