Our client employed our specialist pond services to work alongside his ground-worker to restore this original farm pond.
Measuring 28 x 25 x 1m deep, it suffered winter water-table issues, so we specified under-pond drainage via gravelled land-drain to a sump, with float-activated pump to remove the water if and when the table rose.
We then lined the pond with our Firestone EPDM PondGard membrane before the clients’ ground-worker then walled the pond in and created associated landscaping once our work was complete.
We re-visited three years later to see how it was settling in & we’ve now been invited in 2021, 5 years after its restoration, to start providing regular maintenance to help keep this beautiful pond in perfect condition.
